Taste of OSU

Tonight I went to Taste of OSU at the Union. When we got there around 5:15pm, we went through the relatively complicated lines to purchase our food tickets and made our way to the Performance Hall to start loading up our plates!

The last time I went to Taste of OSU, it was in the RPAC and was quite crowded. This year, they split the tables up in two different rooms, the Ballroom and the Performance Hall, which made it seem less crowded. I still began feeling claustrophobic pretty quickly, though!

After we got some bubble tea from the Taiwanese Student Association's table, we sat down for a bit and ate our first round of food while watching the Bangladesh and Hellenic Student Organizations perform on the projector. Then we headed to  the Performance Hall, got some really good Baklava, some bbq pork and corn from the Buckeye Barbeque Club, and some other tasty treats. We watched the African Youth League, the Dance Coalition, and the North African Students egyptian bellydancer before heading back out to the atrium. When we got out there the Pilipino Student Association was
just beginning their cool stick/war dance which was pretty awesome.

Shortly after, we left. I will definitely be going again next year. :)
