Fireside Chat with Patrick Randerson

On Tuesday afternoon, I attended a fireside chat given by Patrick Randerson, an OSU alum and member of the CIA. Mr. Randerson talked about everything from some of the activities he does at work (he wasn't allowed to tell us a lot), to the kind of people that make up the CIA, to ways in which we can all make ourselves more marketable if we are in fact interested in applying for government work in the future. He seemed very passionate about what he does and recommended that we apply if we thought the lifestyle fit our ideal job, and ultimately if we entered into it for the right reasons, foremost of which was to protect our country to the best of our abilities.
