Autumn Quarter Events

In order to make a post that was more reader-friendly, I decided to blog about my Autumn Quarter events in one post.

First up is the English Major Alumni panel. Super informative! It is always reassuring to hear the stories of English major alumni, including their struggles and successes. Plus, one of the speakers was a writer for my favorite blog, The Kitchn! These events are always beneficial because they help you make connections and open up resources for internships or even employment later in the game. Plus, there is always free pizza.

Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo was also great. Even though most of the animals weren't outside, (dark and cold!) there was still plenty to see and the decorations were beautiful. My favorite part was the giant globe in the middle of the pond near the entrance. Very cool.

Holiday Hop! My only complaint about Holiday Hop was how crowded it was. It's great for gift ideas and there are usually some awesome sales going on, but there are way too many people crammed inside little shops to make this a good experience. I much prefer Gallery Hop later in the year when it is much warmer and much less crowded!
