Feminism D&D

i would like to start by sincerely apologizing to my fellow humanities kids for the HUGE delay on writing my post. alright so on... this dinner and dialogue was sensational. the concepts that Melissa discussed within her presentation were very relevant to everyday life. The double standards for women and the overwhelming-yet false-belief that we as women have somehow 'made it to the top' are just a few of the main discussion points that were covered in the session over some pizza and salad! i'm definitely planning on enrolling in Melissa's class in the winter! have a wonderful rest of spring quarter. bloggers :)

  1. I enjoyed the discussion about the different issues she brought up.I believe that it is possible that people have grown slightly complacent as a whole about how women are viewed in society. It was interesting that she also brought up issues that guys are also starting to be going through the same as women, such as skin care products and cosmetics being increasingly marketed towards them.
